Saturday August 16th (doors open at 6:45PM)

For our headline event, we are delighted this year to bring you three amazing acts on one bill at the iconic Morecambe winter Gardens.

Get ready to sail into a night of incredible music at the Morecambe Maritime Festival Concert! Headlining the event is the internationally acclaimed writer and singer John Conolly, best known for his timeless classic, “Fiddler’s Green.”
Also performing are the fantastic five-piece band Jack Tars and the lively four-piece shanty crew Ship to Shore. Don’t miss this unforgettable evening celebrating maritime music!

The Jack Tars

The Jack Tars

You can expect an energetic and multi-instrument approach to Maritime music, whilst still retaining traditional elements and powerful harmonies within some acapella numbers. The Jack Tars aim to present their music in a visual style that takes their audiences back in time to the taverns of old. It will be a captivating performance which will capture some of the best traditional maritime music from the 18thC and 19thC whilst a few early 20thC songs make the set list.⚓️
